The newly revamped Be Well Lifestyle program returns Thursday, March 16. Sessions will be held at 1 pm in the 201 Student Health Building on an alternating Tuesday/Thursday schedule. If you are interested in joining the lunch and learn series, please email Yusof (firstname.lastname@example.org) by Friday March 17th. Participants of the series will be given a Fitbit to use for the duration of the program as we move to meet our individually set goals. The lifestyle program is an evidence-based 6-week program adapted from the CDC’s Diabetes Prevention Program. This program aims to help UT personnel create healthier lifestyles through physical activity and proper nutrition. In the lunch and learn sessions, participants will learn about the recommendations for different areas of health and wellness. Participants will then set and meet individual goals based on the recommendations and their current level of activity. Over the course of the program, participants will work to apply their goals and the recommendations as part of their daily lifestyle.
