Seasonal Gardening Workshops & Be Well Grow Labs

In collaboration with UT Gardens and UT Grow Labs, hands-on gardening workshops teach nutrition, healthy cooking, gardening skills, and ways to maintain a balanced lifestyle through growing your own food.

Workspace Ergonomic Evaluations

Interactive ergonomic evaluations guide faculty and staff in optimizing their workspaces for comfort, productivity, and injury prevention through personalized assessments and action plans.

Education Workshops, Seminar, and Department-Specific Training

Custom workshops cover topics like stress reduction, burnout prevention, relationship building, and more – providing practical strategies tailored to each department’s unique wellness needs.

Monthly and Seasonal Wellness Events

Be Well coordinates free monthly and seasonal events, as well as campus-wide awareness campaigns, bringing employees together to promote wellness, connection, and community engagement.

Bowling, Groups Walks, Obstacle Courses, and more

Be Well social events offer activities like bowling, group walks, and obstacle courses that incorporate physical, spiritual, environmental, and intellectual areas of the 8 Dimensions of Wellness.

Kickboxing & General Fitness Instruction

Certified instructors lead structured fitness classes – including cardio kickboxing and resistance training – to improve strength, endurance, and overall well-being for participants of all levels.

Chair Yoga

Instructor-led chair yoga sessions use gentle movement, breathing exercises, and focused attention to help reduce stress, increase flexibility, and support mental and physical balance.

Tai Chi Classes

Tai Chi is a low-impact martial art that blends slow, controlled movements with mindful focus. This practice helps enhance balance, lower stress, boost confidence, and support both mental health and physical wellness.
