In place of Employee Field Day, Be Well is encouraging UTK families to get outdoors on Saturday, June 13th to celebrate Family Health & Fitness Day. This annual event is promoted by the National Recreation & Park Association to acknowledge the importance of parks and recreations in keeping communities healthy.
East Tennessee has an abundance of local and national park areas that offer a variety of ways to be active outdoors. Whether you want to drive fifteen minutes or an hour, you can be hiking, biking, swimming, paddle boarding, etc. in no time.
