National Employee Health and Fitness Day

UT Celebrates National Employee Health and Fitness Day!

National Employee Health and Fitness Day (NEHFD), is a national observance celebrated the third Wednesday in May. It was created to promote the benefits of physical activity for employees through work site health promotion activities.

Be Well will be celebrating all week long starting Monday May 15th through Friday May 19th. Each day we will be taking out the Health Hut to different areas of campus between 11am and 1pm. Faculty and Staff are encouraged to visit the Health Hut at these various locations for a healthy snack, nutritious lunch (first 50 visitors), information, and resources. This is an opportunity to meet the Be Well Wellness Coordinator ask questions and offer insight on campus health and wellness needs. New information and resources related to employee health and fitness will be shared daily. Stop by the health hut to sign up for a chance to win a new Fitbit. A drawing for the Fitbit winners will be done on Monday May 22nd by noon.
