Be Well Receives ETWR Gold Certification


UT’s Be Well Program Receives ETWR Gold for Work-site Wellness Programming

Be Well, The University of Tennessee employee wellness program housed in the Center for Health Education and Wellness has just received the Gold Status from the East Tennessee Wellness Roundtable (ETWR). ETWR Gold is a new program to recognize East Tennessee work-sites that exemplify excellence in worksite wellness. The certification is given to work-sites that provide exemplary employee health and wellness programming following evidence-based strategies.

The Be Well program is a Chancellor’s Initiative was launched over a year ago in partnership with Governor’s Foundation Healthier Tennessee. The initiative focuses on three areas that have the greatest impact on health and wellness: Move More (Physical Activity), Eat Smarter (Healthy Eating), Cut out Tobacco (Tobacco Cessation).
