National Eating Disorder Awareness (21-27)

National Eating Disorder Awareness week aims to shed some light on a struggle silently faced by millions of Americans each year. Eating disorders – such as anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating disorder – include extreme emotions, attitudes, and behaviors surrounding weight and food issues. Eating disorders are potentially life threatening conditions that affect a person’s emotional and physical health.  To learn more about eating disorders and available resources visit the National Eating Disorder Association website.
